Well, in split AC, I do think copper coil is better than aluminum coil, here are the reasons.
difference between copper coil and aluminium coil
1, For good conductivity, compared to the aluminum coil, copper coil is better;
2, For good thermal conductivity, copper coil is better than aluminum coil;
3, For excellent plasticity, compared to the aluminum coil, copper coil is better;
4, For tensile strength, compared to the aluminum coil, copper coil is better;
5, For the power loss rate and other indicators, copper coil is better than aluminum coil.
In my perspective, copper is better than aluminum simply due to its physical strength… Copper being more flexible and durable…
Aluminum can be best used as cooling fins where copper tubings can pass thru for faster temperature dispersions.
Aluminums are much cheaper but when subjected to continuous vibrations its physical sturdiness becomes a question..
